**The company**:
Our client, a highly regarded fashion brand based in the Northern Beaches is on the hunt for a dynamic and enthusiastic Fashion Designer to join their vibrant team as they continue their growth journey.

**The role**:
Reporting into the Head of Product, this role is responsible for the development of new, seasonal and core products, including design concepts, mood boards, trend research, sketches, CADs and product lifestyle management.

This role is perfect for a passionate and creative design professional to become an integral part of the overall product team and ensure that the ranges meet market trends and brand vision.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Create mood boards and colour palettes off market research/trend analysis in line with brand vision and direction from department head
- Research competitors and analyse the global market for new ideas
- Prepare sketches for range boards and make updates as needed with changes
- Set up product in PLM system in collaboration with Garment Tech
- Manage and approve artwork, logo strike-off, lab dips
- Attend fit sessions and communicate changes to suppliers in line with Garment Tech fit comments
- Raise purchase orders, assign shipment numbers and handover UPC barcode details
- Manage photoshoots in collaboration with the Art Direction, ensure all products are prepared and styled correctly
- Collaborate with CX and Marketing teams for product knowledge and attributes guides

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Minimum 3+ years prior experience as a Fashion Designer or Junior Fashion Designer
- Knowledge of working with stretch fabrics is highly advantageous
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite Skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong graphic design skills, particularly within placement and repeat prints
- Experience in PLM system (Backbone/3 Clicks)
