Senior Fashion Designer--Fast Fashion

About the role:

  • Designing effective collections to achieve the planned sales
  • Trend forecasting
  • Analysis of past sales to ensure future collections met with demands
  • Reviewing best sellers and create updates
  • Trend/colour/fabrication researching for brands aesthetic
  • Concept creation and delivery cohesive collections for the labels
  • Preparing spec sheets with design details
  • Overseeing print direction for brand
  • Liaising with other key departments

About you:

  • Your sharp sense of style along with commercial sense will ensure that you are able to follow through with your designs from initial sketch to final sample, whilst embracing our brand's vision.
  • 5 + years' experience in design in the women's apparel industry, preferably fast fashion
  • Proven experience in creating high-quality CADs and tech packs
  • Advanced experience with current versions of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, and InDesign CC
  • Tertiary qualification in Design or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Have a good working knowledge of fabrication and print
  • Possess strong attention to detail and ability to follow design briefs
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
