Our Communities for Children (CfC) Cranbourne team is keen to find a Community Projects Officer in a part time capacity (.8 FTE, 4 days per week) until 30 June 2026.
We are seeking a highly organised, excellent communicator who would enjoy a varied workload, supporting CfC Cranbourne and its Community Partners who support the needs of children and families experiencing vulnerability.
CfC is an initiative of the Department of Social Services, Families and Children Activities. Communities for Children Cranbourne supports children 0 - 12 years and their families, in the areas of wider Cranbourne, Clyde and Clyde North.

As the** Community Projects** **Officer** you will be working in a small but very supportive team. You will provide effective operational and administrative support for the program, along with building positive key stakeholder relationships with community partners, wider services and the community. This is a fixed term role with a rewarding opportunity for someone that enjoys variety and achieving positive outcomes.

**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Tertiary Qualification in Community Development or similar relevant discipline.
- Attention to detail, with the commitment to understand the strategic plan of CfC Cranbourne.
- Confident meeting new people and providing support at stakeholder meetings events and for Community Partners.
- Experience in positive stakeholder engagement to achieve common goals and program outcomes.
- High quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated and excellent time management skills in a busy environment of competing priorities, completing key tasks in a timely, high-quality, efficient, accurate and positive manner.
- Excellent computer literacy including knowledge of Excel, general data management and analytics skills.
- Commitment to own professional development and learning.
- Demonstrated a high level of computer proficiency and quick adoption of new technologies, including devices which allow for mobility and working remotely.
