Amazing opportunity for an experienced Program Support Officer to join a Local Government authority based in the South East | Immediate start date, three month contract with a view for ongoing extension | Previous experience in high level administration essential
- **Play a pivotal role supporting the Business Transformation Team in a progressive Local Government.**:

- **High level administration and previous project experience is essential, you will be working closely with the Leadership Team.**:

- **Initial three month contract with a view to convert to a two year contract, competitive hourly rate. Close to public transport and onsite parking.**

**About the company**:
You will be working for a Local Government authority based in the south eastern suburbs. You will play a key role within the Business Transformation and Innovation Team, providing high level administrative and project support to the Leadership Team in a fast-paced busy environment, the council building is located close to public transport with parking onsite.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Provide program planning and delivery support to the department
- Preparing agendas, distributing meeting papers and minute taking
- Coordinate key planning sessions, meetings, steering committees and events for the department
- Support the budget and forecasting for the department and assist with procurement process
- Maintain relevant information on internal systems and intranet.
- Coordinate Council and Executive reports and briefings

**You will have the following**:

- Demonstrated experience within a program support role or similar high level administration support
- Exceptional time management, high level interpersonal skills and professional discretion is essential
- Experience with budgeting and procurement practices desirable
- Intermediate knowledge of the MS office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proven experience working in a busy environment
- Excellent written and analytical ability, in particular accurate spelling, alpha-numeric data entry and qualifying data
- Work effectively and autonomously to specific deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
