Key role establishing and managing configurations across complex transport assets

A rare opportunity to join an engineering services contractor with a solid track record of winning and executing Design & Construct (D&C) and Operations & maintenance (O&M) contracts across multiple utility and infrastructure sectors. Operating nationally, they have an established, successful executive team with a culture of active leadership development and inclusion in continuous improvement and strategic development of the business.

Growth in the transport infrastructure market has created a new leadership opportunity for a versatile configuration manager / asset manager to bring capability and experience to a long term O&M Contract team. As a key member of the team your responsibilities will include:
1. Complete the establishment and implementation of configuration management across all stages of a long term contract.

2. Play a key role in shaping and supporting the transport asset management development plan. Support the asset management team and client in managing handover of new assets and the successful handover of project completion data.

3. Lead a team to manage and govern the configuration management process

4. Ensure that all configuration changes are traceable and report on configuration activities, coordinating appropriate audits to ensure processes have been implemented.

5. Work closely with the client to support asset management objectives, managing asset management in accordance with standards and risk management.

Preferred Experience
- Understanding of asset management (ISO 55000 series).
- Experience in delivery of infrastructure or utility maintenance services (road, rail, aviation, electrical, gas, water etc)
- Demonstrated understanding of reliability engineering concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

- A degree in engineering.
- Asset management certification through Asset Council Australia is preferred - Demonstrated understanding of reliability engineering concepts
- Background in process and systems environment, focused on developing a structured approach to business.

Pay: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
