**Head of Enterprise** **Risk**

This is a brand new role where you will be responsible for designing, developing and having overall responsibility of the Enterprise Risk function for VGW.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Developing the Risk Governance Framework, and any relevant related policy statements and methodologies, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and organisational strategy
- Providing independent reports to the Board Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee with respect to the overall progress of Risk Management in the organisation.
- Evaluating operational policies and procedures to achieve the identified Risk Management objectives and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Introduce new technology, improved Risk Management techniques and approaches to assist risk identification, measurement and control.
- Facilitating and coordinating business unit documentation of operational policies and procedures.
- Monitoring the progress of risk management processes on existing and new projects/activities undertaken by the organisation.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- 10 or more years of experience understanding organisational risk. An audit background is an advantage.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (such as accounting, commerce, information systems, IT or related)
- Strong understanding of the technology landscape.
- Communications strategy experience with ability to link activities to overall company objectives.
- Framework, policy and process development experience. Experience creating risk frameworks from the ground up.
- Self-motivated and solutions-driven with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Project Management Experience. Ability to remain abreast with the constantly changing environment, often in numerous unique locations.
- Risk Analysis experience. Excellent analytical skills, particularly in identifying potential issues and scenarios.
