Description:
The position is a part time position which involves making outbound sales calls to potential customers who have expressed an interest in acquiring our telecommunications services for their home or business (warm calls). The position includes:
- Meet the prescribed customer service standards and call handling targets and measures
- Provide a range of products and services information to customers to enable them to make an informed decision
- Maximise revenue through selling procedures
- Meet the required sales and call volume targets
- Data entry of customer details into CMS systems
- Accurate record keeping; and
- Any other works as required.
Key Performance Measures
- Attainment of prescribed sales and call volume targets;
- Full compliance with confidentiality;
- Quality of communication with customers, staff and management.
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in a telemarketing or outbound/inbound sales role advantageous but not required;
- Demonstrated administration skills including adherence to policies and procedures;
- Previous experience in telecommunications sales highly desirable;
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and work with mínimal supervision;
Skills and Experiences:
Knowledge and Skills
- Skills in planning and organising;
- Aptitude for clear communication, consultation and consideration of others;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- High proficiency in the operation of office and screen based equipment;
- Computer skills (Emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); and
- High level of literacy for effective written and verbal communication;

- Understands and maintains confidentiality;
- Professional, constructive and friendly manner;
- Performs effectively in an environment of change and pressure;
- A ‘can do’ attitude to own work and the goals of the greater team; and
