**About the Company**

**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an experienced Records Manager that is highly knowledgeable about the State Records Act and Compliance to join their team in Sydney CBD with the flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 3-months temporary assignment, with potential to extend.

Supporting the audit/compliance project, you will be required to utilise your expertise relating to Records and the State Records Act to review, analyse and evaluate accuracy and compliance to achieve organisational objectives

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties
- Undertake a compliance gap analysis relating to records, reporting on any non-compliance issues across TRIM, SharePoint & MSO365
- Identify emerging trends and issues, mitigating risks
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, developing business rules for implementation in an electronic record management system
- End to end Records management from capture, classify, store, retain and dispose
- Manage records archiving including transfer to storage and managing storage account
- Ensure confidential and sensitive information is protected whilst disposing of records
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders facilitating contribution of ideas, engagement, partnerships and collaboration
- Analyse procedures, develop and properly train staff in procedural compliance

**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Minimum 3years Records Management experience essential
- Thorough understanding on State Records Act 1998
- Public Sector experience highly desirable
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency with MSO36, SharePoint and TRIM
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines
- Solid analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commence the assignment almost immediately and commit to the duration
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medical exemption
