This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise in Records and Information Management and join Macquarie’s Enterprise Information Management team to implement their Group-wide records management framework.

As Records Governance Advisor you will support the Head of Records Governance to liaise with Business Leads, Legal, Risk and Compliance functions who support and carry out the delivery of the Group’s Records Management framework. Working in a dynamic and outcome-focused environment, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the Macquarie Group helping the Enterprise Information Management team deliver the records management framework and advise on improvements to enable the Group to manage its global recordkeeping risk effectively.

This will involve partnering with business stakeholders to support their understanding of framework requirements, measurement of its implementation and continuous improvement of the framework in alignment with business objectives. You will leverage your records management expertise and work alongside the central data management teams to ensure alignment with other frameworks. This position requires a self-starter who demonstrates strategic thinking, while also being able to implement tactical solutions.

Enterprise Information Management sets the enterprise-wide data strategy and owns the Enterprise Data Management, Regulatory Reporting and Records Management frameworks, and is comprised of Data, Technology and Risk professionals who seek to realise value through trusted data. EIM drives capability uplift to ensure the frameworks and practices are effectively applied via Group-aligned information management teams.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Oversee the implementation of the bank's records management framework.
- Advise the Group information management teams on records governance matters
- Track and report on the bank's compliance with records framework
- Provide training and support for employees on records governance practices
- Collaborate with Policy Owner and Operational Risk teams to effectively manage the recordkeeping risks through the framework
- Monitor regulatory, industry and business developments and assess their impact on the records management framework to plan and oversee uplift necessary to address any gaps.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Detailed knowledge, understanding and experience in records management/ information management frameworks (5+ years)
- Experience working in financial services or a heavily regulated industry
- Strong risk management background and working knowledge of the three lines of defence. Information risk management knowledge preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of records and information governance regulations
- Have a passion for empathetic engagement with internal stakeholders, a customer-centric mindset and a collaborative, team-oriented style
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with concise communication and an attention to detail
- Have previous experience and/or exposure to agile and human centre design is preferred
