**Scope**
A RecordPoint Records Management as a Service (RMaaS) Consultant works as a part of the consulting team to deliver the RMaaS offering. You will work on behalf of customers to be their champion Records Manager, ensuring the most accurate and effective use of the RecordPoint Data Trust Platform to achieve their records management and compliance objectives. This role will embody one of RecordPoint’s core values in the pursuit of customer success and forging lasting partnerships with our customers. This role will report to our PS Product Manager.
**What you'll do**:
- Understand the customers' objectives for records management compliance according to their policies and relevant legislation.
- Assists customers in understanding their technical, records management, and information governance requirements in line with the capabilities of the RecordPoint Platform
- Accountable for delivery of the activities outlined in the service offering including:
- Proactively review and categorise records
- Report on items eligible for disposition
- Identify additional sources of information requiring records management controls
- Collaborate with key stakeholders
- Maintain retention and disposal schedules
- Assist with FOI and Holds requests
- Provide Records management guidance and recommendation on best-practice relevant to each customer
- Assist organisations to meet their legal requirements to keep records for the correct amount of time
- Deliver RMaaS activities to multiple customers at one time
- Use our support desk tools to track and manage all customer communications
- Update tickets on the progress of all service tasks
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements
- Communicate with our customers at all stages when delivering the service using our ticketing system
- Contribute to continuous improvement and expansion of RMaaS
**About you**:
- Demonstrated experience in Records Management principles and practices
- Understanding of and experience in maintaining functional classification schemes and retention and disposal schedules
- Understanding of the legislation around Records Management and Privacy
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and comfortable being assigned to multiple projects at one time;
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with the RecordPoint Data Trust Platform is an advantage
- Can deliver outstanding customer service that consistently exceeds expectations;
- The ability to engage key decision makers in conversation and question/listen to understand needs;
- 5+ years’ experience as a Records Manager in a large corporate or government agency; OR
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Records Management consultant
