**The Company**

This organisation is a market leader in manufacturing of technical products which are sold to a range of industries and major companies across Australia. They have been on a business transformation journey as they continue to grow their international presence, developing a capability to produce innovative and highly engineered products within their advanced manufacturing facility. Due to internal promotions within the business, an exciting opportunity exists for a senior operations leader to lead a large team across the operations function.

**The Role**

As the Operations Manager your role is to lead and develop manufacturing staff, and to establish a culture that supports all aspects of manufacturing. Your responsibilities will focus on all areas of manufacturing including
- productivity, efficiency and product specifications, with a focus on meeting quality, OH&S, capacity requirements whilst maintaining financial control.
- you will contribute to plant improvement initiatives through active leadership and implementation of a continuous improvement program.
- there will be a need to reflect strategically, planning for the continued growth of the business and the operations long term progress.

**Your Background**

To be successful in this role you will have extensive leadership experience gained from a manufacturing environment, with extensive experience working with engineering, quality, continuous improvement and OH&S functions. You must be able to drive change and achieve excellent results through effective leadership, with a focus on cultural improvement and increasing employee engagement. Strong commercial awareness and an ability to communicate at all levels are critical to the success of the position.
