We are looking for a** Supply Manager **to join our commercial team in Melbourne, Australia.
The Supply Manager is the portfolio owner in Australia & New Zealand, designs and seeks approval for sourcing strategy on the specific geography aligned with the Global Feedstock Owner.
The person will develop new or build on existing relationships in the market among feedstock producers to introduce key decision makers to the business, and negotiate supply contracts
The person will need to be able to link the sourced feedstock volumes in with Neste’s Global Feedstocks Supply Chain across APAC & EMEA markets, overseeing logistics, contracts negotiation, and development and implementation of the Sourcing Strategy
The person will play a key role in driving sustainability and regulatory awareness through Neste’s supply base, along with bringing in depth knowledge and experience of trading markets and trade flows, to embed optionality in supply agreements/develop opportunistic tracing around physical flows longer term

Your main responsibilities include
**Supplier Relationship**
- Develop and take lead on supplier relationships, including identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers. Actively working towards the consistent increase of pool of counterparties available to in the geography under responsibility that meet Neste’s sustainability requirements.
- Following supplier segmentation exercise, develop a plan/relationship per supplier according to potential impact to Neste
**Strategic**
- Development and implementation of Supply Strategy in the respective geography
- Work as part of the Global Feedstock Organisation to develop Neste’s positioning in the markets to increase feedstock supply portfolio
- Be a champion of Neste’s Sustainability Agenda in line with Global and Local policies
**Operational**
- Work to continually optimize the logistics and supply chain costs
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure business/sales needs are met
- Develop accurate market information/analysis on biofuels and feedstocks markets to provide insight to Senior Management on market trade flows and practices, including identification of further trading opportunities in the region
- Liaise and collaborate with multiple internal business units locally and globally including Supply, Trading and Operations
- Take constant pulse of the market, industry drivers and trends
- The role will need a close cooperation with the Key Account Managers of each region, RA Business Development, SCM, Log/Ops teams, other business units and all of the common functions (Finance, Legal, Tax and Op Model teams) with an emphasis on team working mindset. You will report to the Lead Supply Manager, based in Melbourne.
**Keys to success in this role**
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental, agricultural, sciences or related field (masters preferred)
- Proven commercial experience within supply/trading, preferably with knowledge of energy markets, renewable fuel markets, agriculture or feedstock
- Experience in physical land and waterborne logistics/supply chain management
- Knowledge or interest on biofuels/feedstock products legislation and regulations
- Robust analytical and negotiation skills
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Very Strong written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service
