**Role Description**
RPI is looking for a People & Culture Advisor to serve as an HR Generalist, managing the employee lifecycle across our two Melbourne offices.
As a **trusted partner**, you will report into the National P&C Senior Manager, and support the full employee lifecycle by:
- Building strong stakeholder relationships to drive impactful people initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
- Contributing to key projects that align with RPI’s strategic and operational goals.
- Deliver high-quality advisory services that support the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, leave management, employee data management, performance management, and staff transitions or terminations.
- Participate in the delivery of engaging organisation development activities including holistic wellbeing initiatives, learning and development, reward & recognition programs, graduate and work experience programs.
- Provide advice and support to line managers on employee relations matters.
- Ensuring accurate records are maintained in the HRIS (Employment Hero) and other document management systems.
- Maintain accurate & up to date records of employee data and document control aligned with all processes in the employee lifecycle (payroll, employee data, learning data, etc.).
To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience as a People & Culture Advisor. Experience in professional services, particularly in construction, engineering, advisory, or consulting, will be highly valued.
You’ll also need:
- Generalist experience in P&C support, delivering P&C initiatives across the business for the benefit of our employees.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- An ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and positively influence outcomes where required.
- An eagerness to be part of a tight-knit team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player, who’ll be accountable for outcomes; has a growth mindset; and wants to be part of a dynamic business that works flexibly.
- Experience using various HRIS software, such as Employment Hero, GO1, Culture Amp or other related systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, presentations, and data reporting and analysis.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Humanities, Business/Commerce, Law or Psychology.
