As an **Advisor in the Fiscal Strategy team**, you will provide expert fiscal advice and analysis to support the Government’s fiscal strategy, focusing on the State’s balance sheet and credit ratings with Moody’s, S&P Global, and Fitch Ratings. Your role includes analysing fiscal forecasts, developing recommendations to strengthen the State’s financial position, managing relationships with credit rating agencies, and assisting in the preparation of the State Budget, Half-Yearly Review, and the Report on State Finances. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Treasury and external contacts is essential.

- Experience in financial and economic modelling and forecasting, including Excel proficiency.
- Financial management skills.
- Ability to succeed in high-pressure, dynamic, and innovative environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey complex information clearly in various formats (verbal, written, presentations).
- Credit ratings experience is beneficial.
