**About the company**:
The Capability and Employment (C&E) Branch is responsible for strategic and operational focused human resources (HR) advice and support services, to support business areas in meeting their workforce needs. Currently seeking an APS4 and an APS5 HR Advisor to join a busy Federal Government team.

**About the role**:
HR Help team - work to reduce the duplication of HR matters as a dedicated triage and escalation point as well as:
APS4:

- Undertake administrative work to support high quality service delivery, data collection and record keeping
- Provide advice on general HR enquiries and interpretation of, employee relations policy and legislation
- Other ad-hoc HR tasks as required

APS5:

- Provide specialist advice on, and interpretation of, employee relations policy and legislation to guide managers and employees and assist in the resolution of complex issues and sensitive matters,
- Undertake and manage moderately complex projects with limited supervision, including identifying areas for cross collaboration
- contribute to the leadership, mentoring and development of junior employees

**About you**:

- Experience or knowledge in HR customer service environment
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- A proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and the ability to work autonomously when needed
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and customer service focus
