**Hawthorn Vet is looking for a full-time Practice Manager to join our collaborative and passionate team**

**Position Overview**:
The Practice Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth processes, high-quality patient care, and exceptional client service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our practice.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily operations of the veterinary practice, including staff supervision, scheduling, and resource management.
- Ensure the clinic meets all regulatory and compliance standards.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Lead and support a team of nurses and administrative staff.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork.
- Develop and implement policies to improve patient care and customer service.
- Handle client communications, ensuring a high standard of care and service.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency, implementing systems for smooth workflow.
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a management role within a veterinary practice or related field.
- Cert IV Vet Nurse with relevant industry experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and resource allocation.
- Passion for animal care and client service.
- Proficiency in veterinary practice management software such as RXWorks is advantageous
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
