About Your Role

Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Clinical Practice Advisor to work within our Support Independent Living Service.

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Practice, you will be responsible for building capacity for Scope Operations and Delivery teams to support the safe and effective provision of disability related health supports to Scope clients.

Your Key Focus

  • Provide clinical practice assessment, advice, coaching, resources and training to front line workforce to safely and effectively support clients with their DRHS and HIDPA requirements
  • Assist front line workforce to communicate with Health Providers to ensure comprehensive and clear care plans are in place for all HIDPA and DRHS needs
  • Provide clinical expertise to ensure training modules are accurate and effective
  • Facilitate the person-centred active support model to ensure client goals aspirations, choices and independence are optimised in all planning
  • Support leaders to ensure all tools, resources, services and training are compliant with Scope policies

What We Look For

  • Registered Nurse of Enrolled Nurse with 5 years-experience within acute clinical setting
  • Strong understanding and management of complex care needs
  • Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria
  • Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment highly desirable
