**As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include**:

- Perform a broad range of administration duties across Reception, Medical Records & Ward Clerk areas including:

- Manage a busy reception desk
- Answer and redirect calls to the relevant area
- Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork
- Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits
- Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
- Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.
- Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.
- Perform Health Fund Checks as required
- Manage the collection of excesses/co payments
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, medical records preparation & Management

**Selection Criteria**:

- Excellent interpersonal, Customer Service and Communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Works well independently and within a team
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work

**Desired Criteria**
- Prior Hospital Administration or Medical Administration experience
- Prior experience using WebPAS advantageous
