As part of our growth strategy, we have 2 brand new Shift Team Leader roles available to join our collaborative and supportive team. You will be hands-on and responsible for managing the shift-to-shift operations of the factory and performance of the shift production team, where you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of extrusion lines and production areas to achieve quality outputs, and products that meet all standards and customer expectations.

What will you do?- Make this role your own as you work on a rotating shift roster leading and developing the health and safety culture for the team including fine tuning processes and tasks as the site continues to grow- Provide leadership and supervision for the team on shift- Engage and motivate the team and work with them to solve issues and trouble shoot- Provide support to operators and play a key role in their learning, development, competency and experience in daily operations, continuous improvement, safety and quality practices and effective teamwork

About you- Demonstrated leadership experience and proven shift management of small/medium sized teams in FMCG/continuous batch manufacturing/heavy industrial operations- Mechanical aptitude and enthusiastic about automation- Ability to set and align balanced operational priorities with the emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, proactive reporting, and a continuous improvement mindset- Effective communication across workplace and workforce diversity- Excellent time management, sense of urgency, results focussed to meet daily production KPI’s and targets- Demonstrated collaborative style and cross functional engagement- You have a can-do attitude, are flexible, adaptable and want to jump onboard to help us continue to grow our manufacturing capability- This role will lead production activities across a mix of manually operated, integrated, automated and robotic processes- Licensed: High Risk Work licence (Forklift) and own transport and driver’s licence
