**About the Role**:
At BaptistCare HopeStreet, we seek to transform the lives of people in our communities who are living with disadvantage or experiencing great personal trials.

Our team works together to create trusted places where people gather, community is strong, and lives are transformed. We walk with each person to understand the unique circumstances of their life and we empower them to live well through practical and reliable support.

As the Community Development Pathways Leader, your role will be leading the Community Development implementation of the Community Services and Housing Strategy across the HopeStreet Hub, focused on driving community-led change and transformation. You will play a crucial part in nurturing the growth and development of place-based, community led approaches, providing strategic team leadership to bring about impactful and sustainable change through place-based collaboration and co-design.

**About You**:
**Essential Qualifications & Experience**
- Degree or post grad qualifications in Community Development, Social work or related field
- Experience working in a Community Services environment and Community Development
- Hold valid NSW Drivers Licence
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain a first aid certificate

**Essential Competencies**
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a team
- Ability in creating, developing and implementing program plans within the Best Practice Frameworks of the Community Service Sector.
- High level of negotiation skills and the ability to liaise with key stakeholders
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including computer skills
- Demonstrate problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrate mediation knowledge and skills
