Our client is a leading law firm, with a team of specialist lawyers focused on delivering superior legal services. They foster a high-performing, professional workplace culture, and provide support for ongoing professional development. An exciting permanent, full-time position is now available within their property and commercial team. This is an office-based position, located in the Newcastle CBD.

**You’ll be responsible for**:
This is an opportunity to support an experienced, professional team. You will be given excellent onboarding and ongoing training to ensure you succeed in the role. Key duties include:

- Filing and archiving
- Opening new matters, maintaining accurate client records and keeping files organised
- Liaising with clients
- Typing from dictation
- Diary management
- General ad-hoc office administration duties

**Essentially you’ll have**:

- Prior experience in an administration role ideally in the legal or real estate industries
- Intermediate skills in the MS Suite
- Confident systems skills, with PEXA and Affinity experience desirable but not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy helping others and finding solutions to problems
- An excellent eye for detail
- An enthusiastic and positive approach to your work
