**Territory Manager | Food Science & Manufacturing**

These products offer many companies the ability to monitor the safety, hygiene and quality of their products.

**The Role**
The role is supported directly by the National Manager. Your role as Territory Manager - VIC will allow you the opportunity to manage existing accounts and develop new opportunities within your designated territory, mainly operating throughout Melbourne. You will spend 50% of your time managing and strategising the current active accounts, the remaining 50% analysing the market, building networks and developing new opportunities to grow your territory. The role will replace a previous Territory Manager who has contributed to what is now a lucrative portfolio of accounts and warm opportunities.

Main responsibilities include:

- Providing customer support with respect to account management, product introduction and providing appropriate training as required.
- Liaising with key opinion leaders and senior management within food-related laboratories.
- Represent your company and product range within the industry as conferences and tradeshows
- Business Development Focused - engaging with your national team to drive market growth, create market plans and strategies to support your growth.
- Meet agreed key performance indicators and monitor personal performance

**About you**
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science or Similar
- An understanding of food microbes and pathogens
- Previous business development experience (selling into the food industry would be highly regarded)
- Current VIC Drivers Licence
