**The Opportunity**

Hitachi Construction Machinery has an exciting opportunity within our International Operations Section for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team as a Commercial Contracts Specialist. This position is a for 18 Month Fixed Term Contract role, with the possibility to extend or permanence. The position is based in our Brisbane branch located in Wacol, 4076 QLD.

This position would suit someone who is meticulous in overseeing commercial and contract management specific to global mining customers, whilst providing overall business commercial support to the International Operations Section. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager of International Operations, you will be in required to exercise the below.

**Responsibilities**
- Leading contract negotiations, whilst providing recommendations to all stakeholders to optimise the commercial position of all parties
- Oversee and manage global account contracts, ensuring contract outcomes align with business commercial strategies, plans and objectives
- Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and maximising performance potential and minimising risk across the organisation
- Maintain all stakeholder’s communication and creating professional relationships

**About you**
- Excellent time management and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously with a structured approach.
- Advanced level of attention to detail with the ability to draft complex contractual concepts, customer letters, notices and variations.
- Advanced understating of MS Office.
- Ability to maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work autonomously and thorough about meeting multiple deadlines.
- Experience within a similar role of commercial contracts or Tertiary related qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance and or Legal highly regarded.
