**About the Role**

The role will lead the negotiation and secure appropriate property rights for RES Groups Australian renewable energy developments. The key focus will be on wind projects with crossover to solar or energy storage developments as required. The Land Acquisition Manager will need to quickly build rapport with rural landowners on the phone and in person.

**Responsibilities**
- Leading multiple project land negotiations from inception to completion with legal support.
- Develop and maintain positive, long term landowner relationships across the project portfolio.
- Find/agree practical solutions to resolve landowner concerns and build comfort.
- Managing the land templates, internal approval and document control process for property agreements.
- Supporting new sites selection work from a property perspective, rights and licences.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Degree or relevant qualification in legal, property, land or estates management.
- Experience in property acquisition including leases, purchases, licenses with a focus on rural property assets.
- Knowledge of renewables, specifically wind and solar energy is preferred, but not essential if transferrable skills can be demonstrated.
- High level working knowledge of relevant property law and documentation.
- Flexibility to travel throughout Australia.
- Current driving licence.
