**Spendless Shoes is one of Australia’s largest shoe retailers with over 200 stores around Australia. We are looking for an IT Delivery Manager to join our IT team in the National Support Centre.**

The IT Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the provision of superior service through the ongoing delivery of robust IT Operational Support Services alongside resilient and reliable infrastructure and HW services to the Support Centre, Distribution Centre, and National Store Network. Ensuring critical IT systems and infrastructure are in operation is imperative. The position is required to provide support of existing systems as well as providing recommendations to the Head of Technology, CIO and Spendless Leadership Team for strategic improvements within the IT domain, as well as working with the leadership team to review and provide advice against any requests they may make which will impact the IT domain.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Team management
- Management of the Spendless Network/Infrastructure delivery framework to deliver an exceptional quality of service to the Spendless Information Systems user community and National store and DC network.
- Ensure the delivery of services is built and provided within a foundation of control and accountability, to provide insight into the time, effort, cost and nature of the services being
provided.
- Actively participate within projects and tasks to a successful conclusion undertaken by or involving the Spendless IT department for both strategic and opportunistic
improvement, enhancement and replacement projects under the direction of the Head of Technology or their delegate(s)
- Ensure the IT Operations and Infrastructure services are sufficient and capable to deliver the necessary business outcomes required within the commercial environment they are needed as well as within any regulatory or legal framework applicable.
- Identify and make recommendations related to the Delivery of IT services based on risk mitigation, cost-reduction, outcome-improvements and quality of service
- Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT department.
- Mitigate risk through the provision of sufficient skills and capacity within the Delivery team to ensure appropriate levels of cover during regular and irregular trading periods, vacation periods and team capacity fluctuations.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and identify training where required to the IT Support Technicians to enable them to gain sufficient skills to support the organisation, with skills balanced across multiple team members in order to manage risk during leave etc.
- In consultation with the Head of Technology, sustain, expand or extend the capabilities of the services delivered by IT to our users through the identification and implementation of any agreed-upon new process(s) or system(s)
