Executive Manager

**How will I help?**

As an experienced Executive Manager, you will be leading the Marketing Analytics team at Westpac. Reporting to the Head of Insights and Analytics, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of advanced analytics and data-driven marketing strategies to optimise marketing performance and maximise customer engagement. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, technical expertise and business acumen to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that drive growth and profitability for the organisation.
- Key responsibilities include: _
- Providing strategic leadership to the Marketing Analytics team, developing and executing a comprehensive analytics roadmap to support business goals and objectives
- Overseeing the development of predictive models, segmentation strategies, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics
- Ensuring the delivery of accurate and actionable insights, KPIs, and dashboards to inform marketing campaign effectiveness, customer behaviour, and ROI
- Driving the adoption of advanced analytics tools, technologies, and best practices within the Marketing Analytics team and across the organization
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment on analytics priorities and deliverables
- Building and maintaining a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration
- Continuously assessing industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure Westpac remains at the forefront of advanced analytics and data-driven marketing
- Managing team budgets and resources to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of analytics projects and initiatives

**What do I need?**
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the financial services or marketing analytics domain
- Proven track record of developing and implementing advanced analytics strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement
- Strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, and data visualization tools and techniques
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience with popular analytics tools and platforms, such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Adobe Analytics
