We’re looking for an experienced and motivated venue manager No nights Previous cafe experience is essential. Must be flexible to work at least one weekend shift (it is hospitality after all), have a good sense of humour, and lead by example

You will be at the heart of our operation, overseeing the daily activities, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and leading a dedicated team. This role is a perfect fit for someone with a deep appreciation for coffee, a commitment to delivering top-notch service, and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities include:

- Working in the cafe and keeping the standards high
- Collaborating with head chef and bar manager for smooth day to day funtion
- Rosters, hiring and training of staff
- managing the workflow of the cafe efficiently
- problem solving and being proactive
- analysing P&L reports and adhering to/adjusting budgets.

Applicant requirements:

- 2 years experience in management role
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to report regularly to upper management about the performance of the cafe
- excellent interpersonal skills: able to confidently talk with customers and employees and manage situations as they arise
- experience in a busy cafe, and able to stay calm/collected during busy periods
- not afraid to get their hands dirty
- able to lead by example, and be a good team player
- Barista skills is a plus
- RSA required, or willingness to obtain one upon accepting the role
