Ampd Energy is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the lifecycle management of one of our core product lines. This role is pivotal in driving both the enhancement of existing products and the successful introduction of new offerings. A key focus will be on close collaboration with the engineering team to ensure seamless product development that aligns with customer needs. Additionally, you will work with hardware and software product owners and program management to coordinate product strategies and execute market launches effectively. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation of product management and technical experience, looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing organization.

**What You'll Do**:

- ** Product Lifecycle Management**:

- _ Oversee the product lifecycle_: Manage everything from initial development and market introduction to ongoing optimization and support for a specific product line.
- _ Enhance and refine existing products_: Ensure that they remain competitive and responsive to evolving customer needs.
- Lead new product introductions: Guide products from concept through to market launch and post-launch performance.
- ** Market and Customer Insight**:

- _ Conduct market research_: Gather and analyze insights to inform the improvement of current products and the development of new offerings.
- _ Monitor industry trends_: Stay informed on competitor activities and market shifts to maintain the product line's relevance and competitiveness.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- _ Collaborate closely with the engineering team_: Work together to ensure technical requirements are met and that the development process is efficient and aligned with product goals.
- _ Coordinate with hardware and software product owners_: Ensure the seamless integration of features across the product line.
- _ Align with program management_: Keep product development on track with company objectives and ensure timely execution of product initiatives.
- _ Work with global business development_: Adapt the product line to meet the specific needs of international markets.
- ** Development Methodologies**:

- _ Agile Methodology_: Utilize Agile to manage iterative development with regular updates and feedback. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep development responsive and efficient.
- ** Product Launch and Post-Launch Support**:

- _ Lead product launches_: Ensure comprehensive preparation for market introduction, including materials, training, and support.
- _ Monitor product performance post-launch_: Use customer feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvements and inform future developments.

**Who You Are**:

- ** Experience**:

- 7+ years of product management experience, particularly in managing both existing product lines and launching new products.
- Experience in technology, industrial, or energy sectors is preferred.
- Experience in international product management is an asset.
- ** Technical Acumen**:

- In-depth understanding of power systems, power electronics, or battery systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ** Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is a plus.
- ** Skills**:

- _ Strong collaboration skills, particularly with engineering teams_: Capable of working closely with engineers to translate product visions into technical realities.
- _ Excellent organizational and project management abilities_: Competent in managing multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
