Based in beautiful regional Victoria, less than two hours from Melbourne, this strategic role allows you to flex your commercial acumen, negotiation and problem-solving skills while managing the company's entire milling oat program - from forward contracting and planting through to harvest.

Integrally, you'll also develop and maintain relationships with growers and other key stakeholders across Victoria and New South Wales, conduct crop inspections and stay on top of market conditions and agronomic issues. **Your new job also involves**:

- Managing relationships with key grain storage sites
- Identifying purchasing opportunities and negotiating supplier contracts
- Liaising with industry bodies and keeping management informed of improved agronomic practices
- Presenting at grower information days and agricultural field days
- Experience working in the agriculture or grains industry
- Strong commercial acumen, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to provide comprehensive reporting to management
