About the Role

The Procurement Analyst will develop procurement intelligence from various data sources, including business analysis, cost modelling, reporting, and performance analysis. This intelligence will inform procurement decisions and support performance improvement to meet the organization's business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with key stakeholders to determine their business needs and provide procurement reports and insights to inform procurement decisions.

- Identify and use relevant analytical tools, techniques, and systems to analyze and interpret supplier and organizational information.

- Develop and assess reports for effective supplier performance management and tracking benefits delivered.

- Gather and document requirements for multiple market approaches for services to meet organizational priorities.

- Continuously build knowledge of procurement and the business to enhance analysis.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in consultation, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation.

- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive work culture, financial responsibility, innovation, and productivity improvement.

- Strong data management and analytical skills.

- Working knowledge of electronic purchasing/supply systems.

- Tertiary qualification in Business (Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related field) or significant procurement analytics experience in complex organizations.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of Health Purchasing Victoria legislative requirements.

- Previous experience within a hospital or healthcare environment management.

- Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and Victorian Health Experience Survey.
