**Purpose**

The primary objectives of this position are to:

- Partner and consult with key business partners and internal customers to leverage best procurement

outcomes for the business.
- Deliver effective and efficient procurement of goods and services in line with CHW’s program of work,

policies and procedures.
- Assist in transforming CHW’s procurement processes.

**Key Duties/Responsibilities**

**Internal Customers and Contract Management**
- Build sound working relationships with key internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Influence business partners/customers/stakeholders in order to achieve the best outcomes for CHW.
- Monitor and respond to feedback to ensure continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a systematic approach to contract management to

maximise financial and operational performance and reduce risk.
**Strategic Sourcing**
- Develop and implement appropriate solutions to optimise best value for money, sustainable sourcing

within categories of spend.
- Conduct complex Request for Tender activities in accordance with CHW’s procurement thresholds.
- Gather and aggregate business requirements across divisions, ensuring consultation between

stakeholders, to drive and deliver effective and efficient outcomes.
- Utilise CHWs procurement systems to drive operating and planning frameworks to determine

programme of work in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
- Deliver effective and efficient negotiations with suppliers to ensure sustainable value for money

outcomes.
**Procurement Systems and Processes**
- Maintain up to date procurement systems and databases.
- Ensure employees’ use of procurement systems is compliant with policy and delegated responsibilities.
- Wherever possible, research and implement initiatives to increase the efficiency of procurement

processes and minimise payment errors.
**Governance and Reporting**
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, frameworks, procedures, toolkits and best

practices for the use of procurement stakeholders across the business.
- Produce reports as required.
- Develop a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program with key external suppliers relevant to

the categories of spend.
- Work with CHW’s Contract Managers to improve supplier performance/compliance with contractual

requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of spend to identify and to form the base for strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Utilise analysis to track continuous improvement and benefits realisation.

**. Authority and Accountability**
- Responsible for the efficient and effective performance of all duties and key responsibility areas within

the procurement framework including accurate and timely administration of procurement systems and
processes.
- Responsible for managing own time, setting priorities and planning work in order to achieve objectives

of the position within specified timeframes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
