The Communications Advisor works as part of a team to delivery key communications materials to support the Victorian Building Authority's (VBA) strategic priorities.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will work closely across all VBA divisions, including senior leaders, to ensure communications material is clear, accurate, engaging, timely, and aligned to the VBA's strategic narrative and plan.
With strong communications and writing skills and good attention to detail, you will be responsible for preparing engaging written content across a range of media for different audiences and purposes.
You will help to develop, implement and evaluate innovative and integrated communications materials for target audiences using best practice communication skills, tools and techniques.
**Who we are looking for**:

- Strong writing skills, with proven ability to quickly and accurately develop engaging content.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, draft, edit and proofread information.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Generates new ideas; draws on a range of information sources to identify new ways of doing things.
- Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism or another related discipline.
