We are currently looking for a Customer Service and Administration officer on a temporary full-time basis working Monday to Friday. We are looking for an immediate start.
**Multiple Customer Service and Administration positions available-Government**
**Location: Armadale**
**Contract Start dates: ASAP**
**Contract end date: 2-6 months (assignments will vary)**
**Pay rate: $35-40 per hour + super depending on role**
**Hours: 38 hours a week/full time**
We are currently looking for a Customer Service and Administration officer on a temporary full-time basis working Monday to Friday. We are looking for an immediate start.
The purpose of this role is to support the Governance and Administration Team by assisting to provide information to the public on all functions of Council, verbally and written, handling all customers in a professional, efficient and friendly manner, supporting Council's customer focused approach to its service provision.
**General responsibilities**:
- Providing high level customer service to the residents of the community
- Answering phone calls and transferring to the relevant departments
- Completing document management processes as guided
- Adhoc administration to support business activities
- Taking payments for fees or fines
**Requirements**:
- Competent in usage of Excel Spreadsheet, and other MS Suites
- High level of communication skills - verbal and written
- Previous relevant experience in a front-line customer service position/use of switchboard preferrable
- Good organisational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Possession of, or the ability to acquire, a satisfactory National Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the last twelve months).
**Desirable**
- Experience working in Local Government.
