As our next **Local Operations Consultant you will report to the** **Team Manager - ROC **with key responsibilities to OPS & Local Banking Operations teams; Risk & Compliance Managers; Senior Manager Operations; State, Regional and Branch Managers and the Branch Network. The Local Operations Consultant will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the business meets customer needs in an efficient and timely manner.

You will be responsible for actively supporting the daily operational management of our Retail Banking Branches which each Local Operations Consultant supports. You will identify, analyse, manage, and report operational and administrative duties in line with Operational Risk requirements for the business. You will support staff coaching and training and key initiatives which involve Operational Excellence. Lastly, you will provide operational assistance for the branch network, State and Regional Managers and support the implementation of Retail Banking Growth initiatives

As our new **Local Operations Consultant** you will bring the following skills:

- Extensive knowledge and experience in Branch and/or Bank policies and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of risk, compliance, policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to coach Branch staff on operational risk and compliance processes and procedures
- Highly developed skills in identifying branch operational risks, evaluating alternatives and recommending resolutions
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with internal customers
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Proven administration and planning skills Ability to show initiative/take responsibility and
- through on tasks that may need resolution over an extended period of time
- Technical knowledge of Branch operating systems

This role is a full time, permanent role, based at our **Bendigo and Melbourne** Head Office location.
