**About the Role**
- Lead the Social and Community Planning team and their programs to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of the Baw Baw Community, including management of the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan and associated legislative requirements.
- Support the development of Council policies, programs and services through championing whole of organisation partnerships and social planning that includes the changing needs and demographics of the Baw Baw community, and influence how Council will meet the future opportunities through services, programs, planning and infrastructure.

We’re looking for someone to lead the Baw Baw Shire Council Social and Community Planning team and programs. Leading the S&CP team to deliver on the Municipal Public Health & Wellbeing Plan through our Grants program, Youth program, and other projects each day will be different. Our team has gone through some change, we took a step back to lay the foundations for success now and to meet our communities future needs, come and be a key part of our success.
You will be a well-rounded leader with a high level of emotional intelligence. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are a must, someone who can use or learn a range of internal and external programs while fostering a close-knit team. They’ll have attention to detail, be passionate about working with community to help them achieve outcomes, love a varied day, and be excited to develop along their leadership journey.
