**The role**

We have an opportunity for a capable and experienced legal secretary to join our firm on a part time basis (2 to 3 days per week) supporting lawyers in our Commercial and Corporate and Intellectual Property and IT teams, as well as providing administrative assistance across the firm when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Taking instructions and completing tasks with mínimal assistance;
- Ensuring work is accurate and on time;
- File management;
- Dictaphone typing including correspondence and agreements;
- Diary management and control of deadlines;
- Client liaison;
- Online searches including; business name and company searches, etc;
- Filing and service of documents;
- Monthly billing using Affinity practice management system;
- Entering client data into Affinity;
- General administrative tasks including photocopying, opening/closing files and binding documents.

We are looking for an experienced secretary with at least 4 years’ experience who is highly self-motivated, has a professional telephone manner and is comfortable in dealing with clients and taking accurate instructions, experience in IP issues/ trade marks is essential.

This position is a part-time role, 2 to 3 days per week.
