**About the Role**

Reporting to the Group Lifestyle Services Manager, this role is responsible for providing support for the Lifestyle Services team and Homes to ensure that service delivery is consistent and exceeds customer expectations. The role will ensure compliance to supporting processes, policies, practices and systems are in place to deliver high quality lived experiences for every resident while also meeting all regulatory compliance and other legislative requirements across Homes.
The Lifestyle Services Specialist will provide direct support to the Home’s lifestyle services team, using a continuous improvement approach to ensure best practice in the program delivery and ensuring quality customer experiences in a sustainable way.

As a **Lifestyle Services Specialist**, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Drive the Lifestyle Framework, ensuring to continually maintain up to date industry knowledge to inform currency and relevancy of the program
- Ensure all systems, policies and processes are in place to support and monitor Homes in achieving consumer experience ratings goals.
- Meeting all the regulatory compliance standards and legislative requirements.
- Ensure Homes achieve their CarePage Lifestyle and Consumer Experience Report (NQIP) survey targets
- Development of creative and innovative programming approaches to ensure residents are offered quality, meaningful leisure programs activities.
- Support the Home teams to complete relevant documentation such as care planning, assessments and activity reporting
- Support staff performances in collaboration with general managers of the home, identify areas of focus and develop support plans where required

**About You**
- Diploma in Lifestyle / Leisure or Cert IV in Leisure & Health - bachelor’s in health science (Therapeutic Recreation) desirable
- Highly experienced working in aged care or other human services or healthcare field.
- Broad understanding of the legislation, regulations and requirements, and issues affecting aged care.
- Experience and ability to provide high quality Lifestyle Programs that achieve improved resident wellbeing outcomes.
- Experience in leading a geographically dispersed team and travel when needed.
- Exceptional communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
