Industry leader, Chatoyer, now has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Sales Assistant to join their supportive team

**About the Opportunity**

One of Australia’s leaders in industrial fabric solutions, Chatoyer, is now looking for a Sales Assistant to join their successful sales team. Chatoyer offers a range of solutions that solve environmental issues for various industries including construction, mining and manufacturing. The client base is comprised of resellers rather than end-users of their products.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will support their sales and quoting activities via quoting, follow-ups and database administration.

As Chatoyer’s Sales Assistant your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations
- Undertake the CRM sales process (including lead generation and follow-up outstanding quotes)
- Establish appointments with clients and prospects
- Receive, manage, or escalate customer complaints
- Keep the CRM database up to date
- Assist the Sales Team with reporting
- Prepare documents for sales meetings
- Participate in continuous improvement programs
- Identify potential new sales opportunities by undertaking industry/company research
- Lead generation and cold calling in collaboration with account managers

**About You**

To be successful in the role, you will have/be:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building and the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to determine client’s needs and provide suitable recommendations for their benefit
- Extremely organised and able to prioritise their own workload and meet deadlines

It is also highly desired if you have previous sales experience within the environmental sector and knowledge of environmental/industrial products, and/or a degree in a relevant field.
