**Your new role**

Working as a Sales Account Representative and reporting to the General Manager this role is responsible for:

- Maintaining accounts for existing clients
- Prospecting for new clients
- Face to Face and telephone business development
- Arranging meetings and diary management
- Retaining and developing relevant product knowledge, techniques and sales skills
- Engaging with customers at all levels including trade, retail and wholesale
- Developing sales in the specified territory
- Responding to and following up on sales enquiries
- Developing and creating new markets for products
- Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities and providing relevant reports and information
- Planning and conducting presentations to clients
- Planning and conducting marketing activities (trade shows, demonstrations and promotions)
- Maintaining and developing data
- Complying with company procedures and policies
- Other duties as requested by the GM

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

- Previous experience in a Sales Representative role
- Excellent communication skills and be able to relate to customers at all levels
- Be able to work autonomously, prioritise workloads and manage your own time
- Have a clean driving licence and be prepared to travel to areas between Coffs Harbour and Cairns
- Ability to effectively use CRM and ERP technology
