APS6 Coordination Officer, central location, initial 6 month contract with the possibility to extend.
To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.

This Federal Government department is in the heart of the Canberra city and has an exciting opportunity for an APS6 Coordination Officer to join their ever-expanding team to assist in managing workforce related initiatives.

**Your new role**
You’ll be assisting the strategic branch within the department on workforce related initiatives, as well as a range of recent and ongoing initiatives launched by the sector. Your duties could include but are not limited to:

- Managing and maintaining departmental inbox’s
- Allocating high priority work orders to ensure the team delivers
- Respond to reported issues and coordinate efficient and effective responses
- Monitoring PDMS
- Managing and updating key words for correspondence

**What you'll need to succeed**
Your extensive Federal Government experience will allow you to succeed in this department. A keen interest in learning and expanding your skillset and demonstrated experience in the below will be looked upon highly:

- High level organisation skills
- Strong initiative to take on tasks
- The ability to work across three teams
