**In this Associate, Legal Assist role, you will**
- Use technology to deliver clear, consistent and accurate guidance in a timely manner to bankers and other internal stakeholders on general legal queries.
- Direct bankers and other internal stakeholders to the appropriate legal team where the query is complex or requires in-depth legal advice.
- Follow established processes and, where applicable, utilise technology to streamline and standardise processes and resources for common legal queries.
- Proactively achieve proficiency in all areas of law and policy relevant to their role.
- Embrace continuous improvement and simplification initiatives, particularly those that improve the customer experience.
- Collaborate effectively with their Legal Assist colleagues and key stakeholders in the broader Legal team.
- Actively manage risk by identifying and escalating issues to the relevant stakeholders.

**What you’ll bring**
- An ability to understand data and technology to drive results for the purpose of improving service delivery and the customer experience.
- Experience in simplifying processes and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with NAB policy and relevant NAB systems.
- A critical thinker, with a strategic mindset.
- Problem Solving abilities & situational adaptability.
- Bachelor Level Law Degree preferred but not essential (please note, this is not a practicing lawyer position).
