**About the Organisation**

Food insecurity is a growing problem, requiring a huge, coordinated response; Foodbank NSW & ACT are on hand to fight hunger.

1 in 6 Australian adults haven’t had enough to eat in the last year. On top of this, 1.2 million children have gone hungry during the same period.

Each month they provide 339,200 people across our state and territory with food and grocery assistance. They bridge the gap between the food and grocery industry’s surplus items and those going without food. Their employees and volunteers are determined to end hunger, and this is your opportunity to join them in this clear mission.

**About the Role**:
The Trusts and Foundations Specialist is a talented and ambitious Fundraiser who knows how to utilise existing connections with funders and government bodies to drive relationships and in turn build on revenue. This is an amazing role for a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to develop and manage their own portfolio of prospects and donors. You will have full support and investment to grow this programme; the funding opportunities are vast, and we need a strategic thinker, and a great writer who can capitalise on them

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create, develop, and deliver a structured annual Trusts and Foundations programme
- Work with key internal stakeholders and external agencies to effectively enhance the Trusts and Foundations programme
- Manage the grants process end to end from prospecting to acquittal
- Build relationships internally to identify funding opportunities
- Work with a brilliant CEO and board to build on their significant connections to government and funders
- Work in a highly collaborative manner with this wonderful and passionate team

**Skills**:

- Experience in developing and managing a Trusts and Foundations programme
- Exceptional written skills with experience in writing compelling and ambitious funding proposals
- Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue across a Trusts and Foundations portfolio to include experience working across a range of funders from government, trusts and PAFs
- Excellent relationship skills with a background in fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and also funders
- Ability to set and manage a clear calendar of grants and a background in managing multiple projects and timelines
- A collaborate approach to Fundraising and a passion to join this inspiring and important charity
