An exciting and unique opportunity exists for talented and passionate individuals to join the Land Justice Unit as Manager, Traditional Owner Outcomes, to progress the Victorian Government's nation leading work with First Peoples through their strategic leadership and high-quality public administration.

The responsibilities of the Land Justice Unit include leading the Government's negotiation and implementation of agreements under the Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010 (Vic) (TOS Act) and resolution of claims made under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth).

As the **Manager, Traditional Owner Outcomes, Land Justice Unit** you will effectively manage projects in the Business Plan to achieve the Government's objectives and priorities under the Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010 and Native Title Act 1993, ensuring that policy options are well-researched, and evidence based. Assisting the Director to provide high level strategic, technical and authoritative advice to the Board of Management and ministers on developments in native title, land justice and related areas will also be a requirement of this role.

Please note, a relevant tertiary qualification in law, public policy, humanities or related field and/or equivalent relevant experience is a desirable requirement for this role.

- Highly developed written communication skills
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent people management skills
