Spare Parts Interpreter

**Introduction**:

- The Spare Parts Interpreter will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and timely handling of all parts inquiries and quotes
- Responsible for providing outstanding customer support, coordinating parts orders, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records
- This position requires a high level of independence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients' needs are met with the highest level of professionalism

**Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide accurate quotes for spare parts and obtain customer purchase orders
- Enter customer orders, raise delivery dockets, stock transfers, and invoices
- Coordinate with suppliers to order parts for internal and customer orders and arrange collection if necessary
- Generate spare parts invoices on a weekly basis and reconcile outstanding orders
- Process warranty claims with suppliers and coordinate the receipt of replacement parts

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Forklift license is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving while keeping the manager informed
