**Bellwether **provide Project Management and support services to private and government client's right across Australia and beyond. Our people come from major infrastructure backgrounds and bring with them hands-on experience in the planning and delivery of some of Australia’s biggest and iconic civil infrastructure projects.

We're after an experienced Bridge / Structures / Concrete Inspector or Surveillance Officer to carry out all inspections during the construction of a major bridge upgrade. Long term contract, minimum 12 months.

**Easy commute from Brisbane, Toowoomba, or the Gold Coast, project runs through till at least July '23.**

**Work hours approximately 45 - 50 per week.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Undertake inspection functions/technical audits and ensure contractors/suppliers are following processes and
procedures
- Identify and interpret the severity and nature of structural and material defects and make the appropriate recommendations
- Maintain and/or manage the collection of detailed records and prepare reports
- Provide effective administration, surveillance and recording of
documentation
- Ability to read, understand and interpret technical documents, standards and drawings to TMR's specifications

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 8 years extensive practical experience in bridge or concrete
construction
- Demonstrated expertise in bridge construction to TMR’s
standards and specifications
- Certificate IV in Safety will be highly regarded
- Certificate III in Bridge Construction will be highly regarded
