Leading Hand Concreter / Concreters Required – Brisbane North Side and South Side

Amharc is looking for an experienced Leading Hand Concreter and Experienced Concreters to join our team in South East Queensland. With a steady pipeline of diverse projects, we offer stable, long-term work in a professional and friendly environment.

We are seeking a dedicated individual interested in a long-term role as part of one of our core crews.

About the Role

As a Leading Hand Concreter / Concreter, you will be responsible for a range of concreting tasks, including:

  • Bridgeworks, retaining walls, culverts, slab-on-ground (footpaths, v-drains, etc.)
  • Reading and interpreting formwork drawings, reinforcement plans, and steel schedules
  • Performing all aspects of formwork, steel fixing, and concreting
  • Preparing, boxing up, basic formwork, screeding, operating trowel machines, pouring, and occasional vertical concrete works

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team of tradespeople
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality work
  • A reliable and proactive approach

Essential Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

Valid Driver's Licence

White Card

Certificate III in Concreting (or relevant experience)

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Desirable Tickets & Licences (Advantageous but Not Essential)

  • EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
  • Telehandler
  • Working at Heights
  • Dogman
  • Riggers
  • Scaffolders

Training can be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude.
