**The Role**:The Workshop Support Technician is accountable for supporting the Technical Services team nationally with the procurement of spares, equipment preparation, cleaning, testing, repairs, freight, and storage in accordance with company procedures. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external customers, including Technical Services engineers, technicians, contractors, and suppliers.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **General Duties**: Carry out all lawful requests from area leaders, complete paperwork and administrative tasks, actively participate in business processes, and provide exceptional customer service.
- **Quality**: Comply with Coregas QMS and Code of GMP, complete QC procedures, support internal and external audits, and maintain product quality.
- **Inventory Management**: Assemble equipment, procure materials, manage incoming materials, conduct stocktake activities, and handle packaging and shipping.
- **Equipment Preparation & Testing**: Perform pressure testing and calibration, clean materials for oxygen service, and assemble and test flow control equipment.

**About You**:

- Mechanical engineering degree or mechanical trade qualification
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical background, preferably with hands-on experience
- Knowledge of TIG/OXY ACET welding (preferred)
- Previous experience with record keeping and stock management
- EWP and forklift licence are welcome but not required
