**About the Role**

The Workshop Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of both the workshop and warehouse, ensuring production tasks are completed efficiently, inventory is well managed, and the space is maintained to a high standard.

They will work closely with the Warehouse Coordinator to manage stock and deliveries and lead the Assembly Team to ensure all projects are completed in a timely manner, while collaborating with the Operations and Design teams.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage, coordinate and execute daily tasks with the workshop team including furniture assembly, light modifications, quality checks, and delivery preparations.
- Liaise with the Project and Purchasing teams to ensure workshop outputs align with delivery schedules.
- Oversee and supervise internal and external technicians or subcontractors, ensuring timelines and safety standards are met.
- Maintain and arrange the service of tools, vehicles, equipment, and machinery as required.
- Uphold a clean, safe, and organised working environment, including WHS Compliance.
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing goods, including unloading deliveries, storage, dispatch, and accurate tracking of inventory.
- Maintain systems for stock control and warehouse layout.
- Conduct regular stock counts, quality control and investigation of issues as they arise.
- Ensure all items are handled, packed, and labelled correctly for storage or delivery.
- Manage the day to day activities of the Warehouse Coordinator and Assembly Team.
- Attend jobsites to do any rectification works or instruct contractors remotely on any rectification procedures.
- Maintain training records and WHS logs.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience in a workshop or production setting—ideally within furniture, cabinetry, or a related trade.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach to resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable operating tools, equipment, and warehouse machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously, and manage shifting priorities.
- Knowledge of WHS standards and safe work practices.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory or job tracking systems is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplementary Pay:

- Annual bonus
