**The opportunity**
Working with the Design and Drafting team on exciting and innovative projects, A KLMSA Draftsperson is responsible for creating computer-aided design (CAD) drawings that comply with the Building Code of Australia. As part of your responsibilities, you will;
- Create and submit accurate architectural drawings, including creating plans, layouts and elevation drawings from drawings or sketches as supplied by clients, architects and KLMSA.
- Overlay client drawings to KLMSA modules and ensure they will conform to the modularity of our system.
- Visit sites to obtain levels and/or layout buildings.
- Check the relevant Australian Standards and other building regulations that could affect the design of the project.
- Work closely with the Welding team to ensure production drawings and completed modules are accurate.
- Liaise with contractors to clarify building specifications.
- Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy, acceptance of drawings and successful and positive outcomes.

**About you**
- Experience as a Draftsperson.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Building Standards and other codes and regulations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, well organised and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a team and interact with relevant stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
