**Your Role**:
Reporting to the** **Group Account Manager,** **the **Account Manager, Professional VIC** **will be tasked with meeting sales and profit targets by acquiring and expanding accounts through the implementation of a strategic industry sales plan. You will use a consultative, high-touch sales approach to understand your clients' business needs and challenges, identify buying behaviour, and promote products and solutions. In addition to growing your existing customer base, you will be responsible for building a broader sales portfolio and acquiring new clients for KCP. You will collaborate with our distributor management team to establish strong relationships with targeted clients and jointly close sales when necessary. Your objective will be to cultivate an extensive network of relationships within customer accounts and leverage various digital tools to identify leads and business opportunities. **About you**:

- You are a seasoned sales professional with account management, sales, or business development experience in a B2B or corporate sales environment. Your experience selling in the manufacturing, industrial, and/ or food production industries will be highly regarde.
- You utilise a solutions-focused and relationship-driven sales approach and have highly developed communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with using data to plan your sales approach, you will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and account specific KPI’s
- A strong relationship builder, you have the ability to influence and develop business within existing accounts
- Possessing a growth mindset, you are passionate about providing a solutions focused sales approach to your clients, personal sales development and are open to receiving constructive feedback
- You are customer focused; as we put the customer at the heart of everything that we do, you will possess the ability to build trusting and collaborative relationships quickly, as well as highly developed influencing and negotiation skills
